Journey

Journey…. A journey where i'm bugged to the core.. Bugged as in after my exams are over.. I gotta be partying somewhere rather than just sitting in a train.. And that too a boring one.. So lets make it interesting..

Typing a blog on cell phone.. Couldn't find anything more interesting and also its been long! And i can't stop myself from doing an analysis.. Hmmm Coz this boring journey is forcing me to do comparative analysis.. I know heavy word.. But its interesting.. After all i don wanna worsen my journey.. Its the trains in UK where everyone is quiet.. Quiet so much that its literally pin drop silence. Either people are reading something, listening to music, scribbling something or sleeping.. Even the people who are together with family or frens they are also joining the gang of silent people.

The only noise u may here is when someone got a call & speaking on cell phone.. Or some Indian group is travelling.. This is not the case atleast in my coach.

And then i rem scene in a local bus where if a mid aged aunty kind female is sitting next to u she may wanna know everything about u as if she is getting her son married to u by the end of journey and if thats not the case may try to find some connections and suggest some good guys mother for their son. Or then there are some bahu bitching about here saas or may be the other way round.

And then our Bhartiya Rail as well where even in night if u wanna sleep.. u may find someone or something disturbing u.. Or in the afternoon u’ll find every next hour or two Chai wala and sixers coming in and out making people go crazy.. and then people start gossiping about their last train experience.. If train stops to a station, Every stop has different variety of food or snacks, which you might wanna taste to have a flavor of the city !And then u see people, even with strangers, playing teen pate or some other games in card.. Play Antakshri. Or just hanging around.. Yeah hanging around from first to last coach to see how's the crowd in train.. Specially guys going around to see which coach has some beauties Thankfully they aren't doing same in bus.. And at the end of the journey u are friends with the people sitting around.. At least in your coach..

And i can't forget that as soon as i get into a train or bus people use to say have a safe and nice journey. And i was like yeah if i get handsome dude sitting next to me journey will be really nice. And that was the first prayer before travel. Its not i don pray same now.. I definitely do.. But here even a handsome guy sitting next.. He will be listening to music and reading a book or playing some game. Unlike in india journey where even if a guy sitting quite far, he must be trying to do some eye catching actions and reactions.. And will surely find ways to come and speak to people next to u or probably make frens with them. And then no doubt if by the end of the journey u guys are friends.. I still rem i have made few good friends too during journey.. And there was a time when a guy almost proposed me in train.. I know its crazy.. But thats the fun part of life all crazy and stupid things..

Oh i'm missing all that so much.. Here people just say. U alright.. Sorry ..thank you.. I believe here people spend one third of their lives using only these words. Its not that they don't gossip.. They do but mostly after they are drunk.. And probably in a way not everyone can understand. Their sense of humor i feel is bit weird.. At least till now i'm not able to understand.. ! I cant miss this when this female in my fren's office came in the morning.. And she is giggling and says i have a news.. And the news goes like this…. last evening i've seen my mom with her new boyfriend who is my friend's ex boyfren and the guys hand was on my mum's bum.. U can imagine if this would have been the case in india.. How hilarious or embarrassing it would have been.. NO doubt it was Hillarious here as well ! But not embarrassing at least, otherwise she wouldn’t been telling like a gossip story ! Its more like in Friends Joe kissing Chanler's mum :o)

The journey gonna be a really memorable one, got some more stuff to make it worse.. There is this unknown small station where this train stops before station.. I thought it was same like Indian rail where u don have signal and train has stopped.. Then after twenty minutes suddenly everyone's getting up with bags and luggage and then i asked a female next to me and she said everyone has to get down as there is a man died on rails so service has stopped. And we will be taken by coach/bus to next station from where we'll be taking train. And was shocked to core that even after breaking of such a news, there wasn't enough noise. And people waited for almost one hour and there were hardly any coach but still the noise level was less than any frens gathering in india.

It is so unlike in india where people just need opportunity to gang up and everyone tries to be a political leader and crib about utility services, infrastructure and every possible thing that they can relate to. And that continues till the end of journey.. And here once we are back the silence is again restored.

Is there really always so silence here? Well nah not really.. Its on friday night and weekends people go crazy after being drunk they scream for no reason on the roads.

Well i believe even i'm not acting any different after all i'm also an indian:) we are the people who love to talk are friendly. Not that these people aren't friendly.. They just talk less..

And its gonna take a little while for me to adjust to this.!
